Loyally, Luke by Pepper Basham is an adult romance fiction novel about Ellie and Luke. It's an enemies-to-lovers story and takes around eight hours to finish with 361 pages.

The story starts off with their encounter at the airport, and this lady at the coffee shop decides to be rude after their... not-so-great first encounter, and they were very annoyed with each other. The reason Luke was at the airport was that he had just arrived in the royal country of Skymar, which is set on an island somewhere near Europe, from the States to help with renovations for the orphanage. When he goes to present his ideas, he bumps into Ellie, the lady he met at the airport, and finds out that she is the supervisor for the project. Obviously, they were very annoyed with each other, until after a while and Ellie decided to show her nice side, and they started being friends and spending more time together. However, the plot thickens as Luke doesn't know that Ellie is actually the princess, and while Ellie didn't plan on telling him, they become such good friends that she has to. Will Luke accept her, even though she didn't tell him this big news?

This book uses a lot of texting dialogue to show the characters' POVs and thoughts, which I find very intriguing. The book is definitely a page-turner, and it can be hard to stop reading. The plot is clear, and the adjectives bring the story to life. Even though this book is intended for adults, just like the other two books in the Edgewood family series, teens like me would enjoy it just fine, as it is a low-spice romance novel with Christian themes here and there. This was actually my first romance book, and I think I like it, since I read for eight hours within three days and finished the entire novel. I am currently reading the first book in this series, Authentically, Izzy. Expect a book review for that in the next few weeks!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Four stars for Loyally, Luke by Pepper Basham!
